How should men prepare for an actor headshot session?
Arrive rested and groomed the way you normally present for auditions. If you're deciding on a haircut or beard, talk it through with your reps before the session. Wardrobe is discussed in advance so each look supports how you're being cast.
Do men’s actor headshots need to look dramatic?
Not necessarily. A theatrical headshot needs presence, not intensity for its own sake. We capture variation across commercial and theatrical looks, so you have options for different kinds of submissions.
I’m not sure what my “type” is. Is that a problem?
No. Type becomes clear through the camera. Part of the session is identifying what reads naturally, rather than forcing a label that doesn’t hold up in casting.
